About Us
Mahila Vanijya Mahavidyalaya, established in June 2002 by the Sardar Patel Vidya Bhavan Trust , affiliated with Gujarat University, was founded with the vision of empowering women through quality education. Located in the Bapunagar area, the college operates under the self-financed scheme and has been dedicated to advancing women’s higher education for over two decades.
The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Commerce and Computer Studies, including B.Com, M.Com, and B.S. (B.C.A). Beginning its journey with just 44 students in 2002–03, the institution has grown steadily and now proudly provide education with indian ethos and values to over 1000 girl students every year, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence and inclusive growth.

Institutional Facilities & Student Support Systems
The college provides a healthy academic environment with a focus on discipline, values, and overall development.
Various co-curricular activities such as debate, elocution, essay writing, quiz competitions, and workshops are regularly organized.
Students are encouraged to participate in NSS (National Service Scheme), which helps develop a sense of social responsibility and national unity.
The college organizes special lectures, seminars, and workshops to enhance students’ knowledge and confidence.
Efforts are made to develop *communication skills and professional competence among students.
Scholarships and Fee Concessions:Financial help is provided to needy and meritorious students.
Book Bank Facility:Textbooks are provided to students who require additional support.
Remedial Coaching:Additional classes for academically weaker students.
Career Guidance and Counseling:Guidance for further studies and job opportunities.
